Welcome to Timber
This is your first post. Edit it, delete it, or keep it as a reminder of the day you started.
Welcome to Timber — a simpler, faster, fuller website CMS made by indies, for indies. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start writing.
Timber has no database to set up and no build step: your content lives in plain JSON files and your pages render straight from PHP, so it’s fast on a $5 host and easy to back up.
A few things to try
- Write — the post editor autosaves, previews at phone, tablet and desktop sizes, and schedules for later.
- Design — open the Playground to preview a second starter site, or tweak your colors and logo in Design → Branding.
- Collect — your Contact form is already live at
/contact; submissions land in padmin → Forms.
Good tools get out of the way. That’s the whole idea.
